The course is designed for the enthusiastic student who will find in Malta the most astonishing traces of civilization which goes back 7,000 years. The course is to combine an archaeological field survey in search for changing patterns of land use and settlement in ancient landscapes. The tombs and the temples are absolutely unique and considered by archaeologists to be the climax of a great glory which expressed the cult of the dead and the religious sites of the period.
